y, 3 moves is easier.
There needs to be 1 more rule not to rotate the coins....
that way you cant do it in 3 moves

just move spin the left too 90, then above the 3rd, then you spin the 4th and 5th 90, under the 3rd.

i can do it in 3 moves. easy.

To make it only possible in five moves, there are three rules:
1: Must move in opposite pairs of silver+gold (can't move two of the same type)
2: The two must be touching each other to be moved.
3: The two must be touching the other coins after they move. (This is what makes the four move solution not work)

I can only do it in 4 moves if you don't touch the coins that you move with the other ones in the first move. Only as a side note to my last comment.
